The events differ from each other in the object around which the event itself is created, and the nature of an event is its distinguishing element, its founding factor.
There are 8 types of eventscultural, sports, promotional, meeting, trade fair, fundraising and family.
1. Sporting Events
L'sporting event encompasses all those events concerning various sports, some purely local such as curling or chess, others more widespread, such as football, Formula 1 or the Olympic Games.
2. Culture-related events

3. Promotional Events
These are those events linked to corporate life and are intended to promote products and services.
The thing that differentiates them from trade fair events lies in the fact that promotional ones are organised by a single company to exclusively promote its own products or services and are aimed at drawing the market's attention to new products that it wants to make known.
4. Meeting
They are events organised by the company and often the audience of these events is the company's own human resources. The purpose is for the company to show the results obtained, propose new projects, maintain a cohesive spirit among the participants, or they may have training purposes.
5. Trade fairs
In this case, the audience is represented by professionals working in a given field. The aim is to concentrate in one place all the information on the novelties, tools, innovations, services and projects concerning that particular field that the event deals with. An example of this is agricultural trade fairs.
6. Fairs
These are entertainment eventsaimed at a mainly amateur audience and dealing with a wide range of topics: art, film, publishing and many others.
7. Fundraising
This type of event was created with the aim of raising funds for various reasons:
- disadvantaged classes

- cultural heritage
- people with incurable diseases
8. Family members
They are the events related to family anniversaries: weddings, anniversaries, birthdays etc...
This type of event also requires specific organisation, as well as planning, budget, timing, communication, etc...
