National and international marinas have undergone a profound transformation over the last 15 years, going from being simple shelters for recreational units to gateways to the local area and possible tools for its enhancement.A marina manager is a professional who manages the day-to-day operations and strategy of a marina, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and that the services offered to boaters are of high quality. This role implies a combination of managerial, logistical, commercial and sometimes even environmental skills, considering that a marina is often in an ecologically sensitive area. The marina manager must be able to balance operational, commercial and environmental needs, managing a wide range of activities and making decisions that ensure the sustainable growth and smooth operation of the marina.
