Born and raised in Apulia, his first passion was music, but soon a vocation for cooking emerged in him, discovered by chance.

He then turned down the conservatory and enrolled in the hotel school in Molfetta . Taste Made in Italy, he began with his first experiences in local restaurants. He continued his experiences around Italy, from North to South, competing in a number of gastronomic competitions. He also began to approach the world of TV, from "Cose dell'altro Geo" (Things of the other Geo) from 2011 to the present day, curating a gastronomic column on rai1 on the programme Uno Mattina!

Mario works as a chef at the Gallo Restaurant in Trani, but also follows events around Europe, having recently returned from an event at Fruit Logistic in Berlin.
He loves his work, and his cooking philosophy is to transmit emotions to his customers to be experienced and remembered.
