He is not just a hotelier, nor just a tourism entrepreneur: he is a professional capable of creating authentic experiences, in close contact with nature, without sacrificing comfort.
It combines hôtellerie skills with a passion for sustainable tourism and the ability to manage unconventional structures such as luxury tents, lodges, bubble rooms or eco-chalets.
The course provided by IET trains a dynamic, multi-purpose professional with management skills, tourism marketing, experiential hospitality and a focus on sustainability. The Glamping Manager is the point of reference for those who want to transform an idea of alternative hospitality into a concrete, profitable activity in line with the new trends in responsible tourism.

-Study of the regulations for opening a Glamping site and the necessary authorisations (building permit, tourist licence, verification of any landscape restrictions)
-Business plan and budget (fixed costs: maintenance, personnel, taxes, expected revenues: seasonality, average price per night, number of places)
-Set-up and start-up (ecological and sustainable practices)
-How to choose types of structure (safari tents, yurts, wooden cabins or cottages, bubbles or transparent pods, tree houses, geodesic domes)
-Offering services and activities (nature hikes, local cookery courses, experiences related to the area
-The importance of communication (study of the main portals, booking, GlampingHub, website, collaboration with tour operators)
-Sustainable glamping management

Study of preparatory texts provided by Istituto Europeo del Turismo; 6-month English language course ”all you can learn” formula. If you already have at least a self-certified level B2 in English, you can choose another of the following languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese ,German and Italian
Safety at work course (Legislative Decree 81/08) on FAD platform for the duration of 8 hours of General Training + Low Risk, with relative issue of certificate.
