Travel Agent Course

The Travel Agent offers qualified advice to the customer in the choice of tourist services. He or she follows the entire front office activity: from the booking of a hotel or a train, air or sea ticket to the sale of a travel package. He/she performs a dual role: he/she participates in economic planning and marketing and communication activities within the tourism sector (participating, for example, in trade fairs to promote products) and coordinates the organisational interventions necessary for customer satisfaction.

The Travel Agent is in direct contact with the customer, so he is a reference in whom one can place trust. He/she must therefore be able to organise travel packages with imagination and originality and eventually make the relevant bookings, managing the timing as well as possible.

Increasingly in demand by Travel Agencies and OLTAs (Online Travel Agencies), the Travel Agent deals with the construction, marketing and communication of travel proposals, mediating the relationship between the demand market and the tourism supply market.

His consultancy skills, combined with public speaking and communication skills, are hallmarks of this travel organising professional. His profile is undoubtedly complemented by experience in the field, which contributes to making him a professional figure who is in great demand in the tourism sector.
